RESPECT Presented Its Services at the Largest Agricultural Fair, Země živitelka
RESPECT once again took part in the Země živitelka 2025 agricultural fair, held from August 21 to 26 at the České Budějovice Exhibition Centre. The 51st edition of the event, held under the theme “A New Era,” featured approximately 600 exhibitors from five countries and followed last year’s successful edition, which attracted nearly 130,000 visitors.
At the company’s stand, farmers and agribusiness professionals had the opportunity to receive expert advice on insurance protection for their operations, agricultural machinery, and crops. RESPECT’s specialized advisors presented insurance solutions tailored to the specific needs of modern Czech agriculture—from protection against natural risks to coverage for high-value agricultural equipment.
Země živitelka is the largest and most visited agricultural exhibition in the Czech Republic and the only one that covers the entire agri-food sector. The fair traditionally takes place across the 25-hectare grounds of the České Budějovice exhibition center and focuses on presenting the latest trends in the agricultural sector, including innovative technologies and digitalization.
This year’s edition placed a stronger emphasis on sustainable agriculture and smart technologies. Visitors were able to see the latest agricultural machinery, explore developments in precision farming, and visit livestock exhibitions. A traditional highlight of the fair is also the pavilion of Czech food products, where visitors can taste and purchase high-quality regional specialties.
“Participating in Země živitelka confirms our long-term strategy of supporting Czech agriculture and bringing new perspectives, methods, and tools to help the sector operate more efficiently. The agribusiness sector faces growing challenges—from climate change and rising energy prices to the need for digital transformation. Our goal is to provide farmers with comprehensive insurance protection that allows them to focus on their work,” commented Vojtěch Andrle, Director of the Agrofood Division at RESPECT.
Země živitelka has more than fifty years of tradition and ranks among the most visited professional events in the Czech Republic. The history of the exhibition dates back to 1970, when the first regional agricultural fair was held at the České Budějovice exhibition grounds. Since 1973, it has become a nationwide event and gradually gained international recognition and prestige.
