RESPECT Continues to Support Family Businesses in the Czech Republic This Year
Family businesses form a significant part of the Czech business landscape and are among the largest employers in the country. They are synonymous with stability, a long-term vision, and strong ties to the regions in which they operate. Their importance to the Czech economy is undeniable—they bring innovation, create jobs, and significantly contribute to the development of local communities.
As a family-owned company with a 32-year tradition on the Czech market, RESPECT fully understands the specific challenges and opportunities that family businesses face. For this reason, it has become the main partner of the Family Business Week (FBW) platform, which supports the development of family entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic.
“Having been part of the community of family businesses for more than three decades, we understand their unique DNA very well. Family companies are not focused solely on short-term profit—they build values and visions for future generations. They play a key role not only locally but also on the international level. They are characterized by a responsible approach to employees, business partners, and the communities around them, thereby contributing to the cultivation of society as a whole,” says Zdeněk Reibl, founder and CEO of RESPECT. “That is why we have once again decided to actively support the Family Business Week platform, which connects family businesses and helps them continue to grow.”
The first regional FBW meeting of the year will take place on March 6, 2024, at the premises of the family-owned company ALBIXON in Hořovice.
