Michal Truxa Re-elected as Vice Chairman of the Czech Insurance Brokers Association

The General Assembly of the Czech Insurance Brokers Association (AČPM) elected new statutory bodies last week for the next three-year term. Ivan Špirakus remains at the head of the Association, while Michal Truxa—Vice Chairman of the Board and Chief Operating and Technical Officer at RESPECT—has also retained his position as Vice Chairman.

 

Michal Truxa is particularly active within AČPM in the area of insurance process digitalization and advocates for modern communication methods between insurers and brokers. “I see my mandate in AČPM as a responsibility to all brokers who believe that digitalization and innovation are key to the sustainable future of our industry. The insurance market is changing rapidly, and we are working to actively shape these developments so that not only insurers and brokers benefit, but above all the clients,” says Michal Truxa.

 

Michal Truxa has been with RESPECT since 2000. Since 2014, he has served as Vice Chairman of the Board and has been involved in projects focused on automating and digitalizing internal processes, as well as implementing new technological solutions.

 

The newly elected leadership of the Association will focus on supporting members in adapting to regulatory changes, raising professional standards across the industry, and promoting ethical principles within the sector.
